Open the door for the breeze, and in come the flies.
On a warm day you want the patio door open. Your cat wants to wander in and out every ten minutes. Your dog wants to check the garden, then come straight back to see you. So you either leave everything wide open for the flies, or spend the afternoon getting up to slide the screen.
A screen door flap gives your pet their own way through, while the rest of the fly screen stays shut.
- Your pet comes and goes without you opening the door
- The flap swings back and closes itself with magnets
- The rest of the screen stays closed against insects

Open all afternoon, locked shut at night.
Two blue slide locks sit on the front of the flap, one in each lower corner, each marked Open and Close. Slide them across and the flap stays shut – handy at night, when you go out, or when your pet needs to stay inside.
When the locks are open, the flap swings both ways and the magnetic closure pulls it back into the frame after every trip.
The flap is a convenience lock for your pet's door, not a home security device.
- Two slide locks marked Open / Close
- Magnetic closure brings the flap back into place
- Flap swings both ways, in and out
Three simple steps to a pet-friendly screen
No saws needed – the flap fits into the mesh of a fly screen door.
Mark and cut the mesh
Choose a spot low on the screen at your pet's height, hold the frame against the mesh, mark the opening and cut it out with scissors or a craft knife.
Screw the frame together
Place one half of the frame on each side of the mesh and screw them together, so the screen is held firmly between the two parts.
Show them the way
Hold the flap open for the first few goes and reward them on the other side. Many pets soon learn to push through on their own.

Garden, patio, conservatory – wherever there is a screen.
Fit it into the mesh of a sliding patio screen, a hinged fly screen door or a conservatory screen – just check there is enough flat mesh for the frame first. Your cat can slip out to sunbathe, your dog can pop into the garden, and both can come back in whenever they like.
The flap has mesh paw-print windows, so a little light and air still pass through the flap itself.
- Fits into existing fly screen mesh
- Paw-print mesh windows in the flap
- Two-way swing for easy in and out
Simple design, built around your pet
Everything a pet door for a fly screen needs – and nothing it doesn't.

Magnetic closureCloses itself
Magnets pull the flap back into the frame after your pet passes, so the opening doesn't stay hanging open.

Two slide locksOpen or Close
Slide both blue locks across to keep the flap shut, then slide them back when your pet is free to roam again.

Two-way swingIn and out
The flap swings in both directions, so your pet can push through from the garden or from the house.

Paw-print mesh windowsLight and air through
Mesh paw-shaped panels in the flap let a little air and light through, and give it a playful look.

Two sizes24 × 29 cm or 37 × 42 cm
As a guide, the smaller size suits cats and small dogs; the larger one gives medium dogs more room. Measure your pet before choosing.

Fits fly screen meshFits into the mesh
The two-part frame clamps around the mesh of your screen door, so there's no cutting into wood, uPVC or glass.
Why choose a proper screen flap
Leaving the screen open lets the bugs in. A plain cut-out slit never really closes. A flap with magnets and locks does both jobs.

Comparison with leaving a fly screen door open and with a simple slit cut into the mesh.

For lazy Sunday mornings and long summer evenings.
It's the little moments: a cat strolling in from the garden while you make the coffee, a dog trotting out for a sniff while you stay on the sofa, the patio door left open through a barbecue without a single trip to slide the screen.
Leave it unlocked when they're free to roam and lock it when they need to stay put. Their door, on your terms.
